Assign Issue action

The Assign Issue action in the Redmine+ Automation Plugin removes manual triage from your workflow.
Instead of deciding ownership issue-by-issue, the rule assigns tasks automatically using a strategy you define.

Assignment modes

When adding an Assign Issue action to a rule, you can choose:

  • Round Robin – Assign issues in rotation so every team member gets tasks evenly over time.
  • Balanced Workload – Assign issues to the user with the fewest open tasks, ensuring fair distribution.
